Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce invited famed Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens, to their star-studded wedding on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
On her Instagram Stories, Biles, 29, shared photos in a stunning red wine and metallic dress, designed by DO LONG. In the photos, Owens— who’s wearing a matching suit jacket — is admiring her in the back.
In a follow-up post, Biles shared a smiling selfie with Owens, 30, in the car. She also shared a photo of them posing side-by-side.
Ahead of the nuptials, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist — who famously performed a floor routine to Swift’s hit song “…Ready for It?” — showed off her glam process on her Instagram Stories, tagging her location in Manhattan

Swift, 36, has played a role at multiple points in Biles’ prolific sporting career.

The 11-time Olympic medalist used Swift’s 2017 track “… Ready for It” for the opening of her floor routine during the second day of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials. Later, Swift shared her thoughts on the gymnast’s impressive routine.
“Watched this so many times and still unready. She’s ready for it tho👏👏👏🥇🇺🇸❤” Swift wrote on X at the time, in reaction to a video of the routine posted by the NBC Olympics & Paralympics account.
The singer has been a longtime champion of Biles. During the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, Biles made her grand return to the competition after previously withdrawing from scheduled events due to mental heath reasons. Swift showed her support for Biles in a promotional video for NBC.
“Throughout the last week, her voice has been as significant as her talents. Her honesty as beautiful as the perfection that has long been her signature,” Swift said in the clip. “But don’t you see? It still is. She’s perfectly human. And that’s what makes it so easy to call her a hero. Simone Biles, back on the beam in Tokyo.”
“I’m crying 🥺🤍 how special. I love you @taylorswift13,” Biles responded to the video in a tweet after it was released. Swift responded, “I cried watching YOU. I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you.”
In October 2024, Biles spoke to Access Hollywood at the premiere of her Netflix documentary, Simone Biles Rising: Part 2, and was asked about whether she has had a chance to bond with Swift during the NFL season.

“No, I’m currently on tour so unfortunately not,” Biles said, referring to the Gold Over America Tour. “I’ve missed a lot of games. But as soon as we finish tour, then yes.”
“But you usually don’t bond with opponents,” she added.
Swift and Kelce, 36, announced their engagement on Instagram on Aug. 26, 2025. The superstar duo shared the exciting news with a cheeky caption: “Your gym teacher and your English teacher are getting married.”
